You probably already read Star girl and it's sequel by Spinelli , if not pick those up they're good reads. Also try the Girl series by Sue Limb(Girl 15, charming but insane is the first one) and the Georgia Nicholson series by Louise Rennison is hilarious( first book is Angus, Thongs, and Full frontal snogging)
