Is the Father equivalent to Allah?

Consider the Father of the Christian Trinity and Allah (literally, "One God/deity"). Do you think it is acceptable to say that the Father of the Trinity is equal to Allah, as the Father, as I understand, in the minds of Christians. has existed before the introduction of the Son and the Holy Spirit, as has Allah, in which case the concept of an eternal, non-human and independent deity is embodied in both the Father and Allah?
