Making up statistics is still lying. In 2005 the US divorce rate was 3.6 per 1000 and 63% of American children are raised in homes unbroken by divorce. You should have made your point without the falsified information. It makes you look like someone with an ax to grind who thinks being intellectually dishonest is fine as long as it gets the desired results.
